    A love story that was more than just a love story. It was suspenseful in parts, heartbreaking in parts, and ended perfectly. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read the spin off book!

    I loved this book. I read it back in the day when it was a Wattpad success, so when I heard it was being published, I knew I had to add it to my library! A few things did bother me though. I got bored halfway through the novel. When it was first posted on Wattpad, I actually stopped reading it and went back a few weeks later because I was so bored. The biggest one for me though, would be *SPOILER* how fast Ashton and Anna slept together. I understand it's been a few years since the incident and the story is far from realistic, but if Anna is really that damaged, she wouldn't sleep with a guy she just met.

    But unfortunately, it was a disappointing read. The first thing I noticed about the book was the writing: the dialogue seemed forced, there were too many unnecessary descriptive details that could have been deleted, and too many adverbs (I counted at least nine in one page). The characters are not believable, and there doesn't seem to be a real plot line. It drags on for many pages, and the villain doesn't appear again in the story until way later. Overall, not the greatest book I've read so far.

    This book was good but gets a little drawn out somewhere in the middle. What may others deem to be poor grammar is really just the author showing what I can only strongly assume to be their British roots. It's most apparent during the birthing scene where she screams "give me the gas". In the USA where this story takes place women do not use nitrous oxide during birth which is very common in England. Overall, I enjoyed the book a lot.
